Get ready for the first round of the $SPACE airdrop!
This initial airdrop of $SPACE token is exclusively for those who actively contributed to The Space and Matters Lab ecosystem. Without your support, we wouldn't be here and we’d like to thank you for it. More rounds of airdrops are underway.
In this round, a total of 5,224 unique ETH addresses are eligible to share 2% of the total supply of $SPACE which translates into 20,004,500 $SPACE tokens.
The amount of tokens an ETH wallet address can claim is cumulative. This means if an address fits into more than one category of participants, it is eligible to receive all the airdrops assigned to each category.

PoC Participants
Last December, we started the Proof of Concept (PoC) test of The Space. At this stage, ideas were immature and unverified. We organized several online and offline tests and participants from various communities actively tested out The Space prototype and gave us invaluable feedback.

Testnet Participants
After months of product development, The Space launched on the Testnet and we started three rounds of testing within The Space community.

During these rounds, we identified two types of participants based on address activity on-chain:
- Active Participants: the number of pixel exchanges (buy/sell/transfer) is greater than 10;
- Participants: the number of pixel exchanges (buy/sell/transfer) is less than or equal to 10;

Claim Your $SPACE
All eligible addresses that meet the above criteria were determined by a snapshot on May 26, 2022, 13:00 UTC+8.
- If you fit into one or more of the categories, you can now claim your $SPACE tokens on www.thespace.game/claim; remember to change to Polygon Network.
- If you don’t have any $MATIC to claim $SPACE, no worries. We’ve sent some to you as a gas fee subsidy. Happy claiming.
- The claim period is 10 days, from May 27, 2022, 12:00 UTC+8 to June 6, 2022, 12:00 UTC+8;
- Afterwards, all remaining tokens will be transferred to the SpaceDAO treasury.
Future Airdrops
This initial airdrop is exclusively for our participants to date. We will initiate more airdrops in the future to reach out to more potential creators and contributors.
After The Space’s official launch, we will Fairdrop $SPACE to the general public who are interested in the game. Anyone will be able to claim a small amount of $SPACE and join the game. Stay tuned for more details in the next few weeks!
